GL Account Replication Key Mapping API Error during Replication

Hi,

We are SAP MDG 7.0 SP02 and we are using the standard content with out any customization.

I was able to navigate all the steps for approval. However when I tried to replicate the same I am getting the following error.

I have neither configured any Key Mappings nor replication model is set to  to update the Key Mappings.

However I get the error message which seems to be looking for Business System to update key Mapping.

If you have come across same issue, please provide some inputs. Help is appreciated.

Key mapping API could not determine local business system ID

Message no. MDG_ID_MATCH_API_BS011

Diagnosis

The key mapping Application Programming Interface (API) can not determine the
local business system ID.

Procedure

Complete one of the following activities:

• Maintain your local system in the System Landscape Directory

• Use an alternative implementation for BAdI: Determination of Local System
  Name

Hi Rajesh,

as mentioned by the error message, you need to either setup your system landscape directory correctly (see the MDG-F configuration guide for details), or use the BAdI with a custom implementation.

This setup step is mandatory since each MDG-F outbound implementation checks if there is key mapping maintained or not.
