RZ70 issue

Dear All,

We have ECC system and once central SLD ,i am trying to push the ECC system into our SLD.

I am executing RZ70 and mainating the SLD--Hostname and gateway service od SLD .

after execution below is the result

In SM59 SLD_UC Rfc is alo failing belwo is the result

Hello,

Check parameter gw/reg_info for reginfo file.

Check file @ given location.

make gw/acl_mode to 0.

Hi,

setting gw/acl_mode to 0 is not a recommended solution. To do so, every program can register on the gateway.

Besides the above mentioned settings please check, if in the SLD the Jco server threads are UP or DOWN. (in case gw/acl_mode =1)

At least, when it is DOWN state, please check:

-which gateway is assigned to the sld.

-is the SLD and a  SLD's gateway on differnet hosts? =>In this case extend the reg_info rules accordingly.

Hi,

1. maintain managed system host name to SLD system and vice versa.

2. check in the services file service is maintained.

3. Else delete RFC SLD_UC and SLD_NUC and use RZ70 so that it ll create these rfcs again.

I have deleted the sld_uc and sld_nuc and executed the rz70 and still same issue.

Hi ,

Please check if gateway services running on SLD host . you need to check if gw processes are running on SLD host which you are mentioning in RZ70 .

how can we check gateway service is running ,wht would be the naming convention of gateway service .

MY OS is windows cani check through task manager option?

Can you check the service name in services file and host name entry in host file for SLD system.

Also, check the entry of gateway host and service in SM59 for this RFC.

Check that this port is open using telnet .

I need to enter ecc system hostname in to sld system or ?

I need to check sld services file entry in sld or ecc ?

I am not able to telnet from ecc system to sld system belwo are the result

C:\Users\sidadm>telnet hostname 3301

Hi,

Please refer:

You mention SLD host and service in RZ70.

You have to check host and services file on ECC system.

If ports are blocked then you need to get them opened.

But in this blog they have mentioned abap system hostname and gateway service in sld and also rz70 also they mainatined same host name and service,how is it possible we need to enetr sld host name or ip right in RZ70.

Hi Sap Basis ,

if still this does not work after solving Gateway Host  parameters . Delete both RFC SLD_UC and SLD_NUC and maintain data in RZ70 and trigger it . Hope it will work .

Now normally you fill in the SLD Host and Service in RZ70 where the SLD is actually running. If you point it towards a Solution Manager (dual stack) you would fill in the Solution Manager hostname and its gateway

This is for data supplier purpose.

Delete those RFC and use notes 1727745 - RFC connection error while executing transaction RZ70

Hi Mr Basis,

goto http://<SLD-server>:<Port>/sld/index.jsp -> Administration -> Settings -> (dropdown) ALL

Search for "gateway host (datasupplier)" and "gatway service (datasupplier)" check if the values are correct.

I have checked its blank no value is there .

But i have chkd goto http://<SLD-server>:<Port>/sld/index.jsp -> Administration-->deatils-data supplier showing

Gateway Host: Hostname of sld

Gateway Port: 3301

Hi Basis,

Execute RZ70 with IP address of SLD  and check the results.

Looks like local host file is not updated with details of SLD host and its resolution is having some issue.
