SAP BPM Beginner's question

Hello All,

I'm a PI consultant in his first year and now I'm trying to learn SAP BPM. But whichever tutorial I go through, SAP CE is mentioned.

I thought SAP BPM was configured in PI system itself. Am I wrong ? Is that what the difference between SAP ccBPM and SAP BPM - SAP ccBPM can be configured in PI but not SAP BPM ?(I know in newer versions of PI, ccBPM is not possible)

Kindly please let me know. Also I'm using NWDS to practice BPM. Is that the only way ? Please let me know on this as well.
