Using Quality Notification ONLY and not others in QM function, ok?

Hi,

I am wondering if the quality notification can be used (i.e.to help department initiate complaints, either internally or externally)without the use of QM module.

Basically, we do not have QM department, and we don’t need to inspect stuff on receiving material, we are just trading company. But, one of the function in QM called Quality Notification can be used to makes complains and hence, we just wondering if we do not customized the full QMsetting but just only customize Quality Notification Setting (like QN type), can we use this Quality Notification?

Hello,

Yes, you can use it and you can customize the notification type as per your requirements.

Well, in standard 6 QN type presents. # for complaints and 3 for defect analysis. Q1, Q2 and Q3 are for Complaint records and there analysis. While F1, F2 and F3 are for Defect records and analysis.

You can customize them , change screen tabs and fields as pe ryour requirements and implement where you exactly required.
