How to move statistics using BRTools

Hello Every one,

I have 2 scenarios which I need to mve the statistics across different DB instances

first one : to use the production statistics in performance instance for performance testing.

second : to offload the statistics collection load from the production to another standby cloned DB.

I did use brspace with mstats function to export the statistics but actually I cannot find where these statistics are exported?

and how to move them to other instance ?

Hi Mohammed,

Statistics are exported to STATTAB table. Refer below SAP note for more details

The question is how to move those statistics to another instance?

shall I export / import this table STATTAB to another DB then run stats import ??

Hi,

Yes, you export this table and import it on the "target" system.

Then import the statistics into the tables
