"Error when updating LDAP directory" from HCM to VDS

Hi,

I had run the report - RPLDAP_EXTRACT_IDM to push the user attributes to VDS. But the system gives the error - "Error when updating LDAP directory".

I have configured HCM and VDS as given in the configuration document. PFA screenshot of exception in audit trace in VDS.

Level: WARN  Thread: Thread[16,3,LDAP Sessions:main_listener_389] Logger: Plain Message:

Exception: (IC Identity store:65:mx_entrytype,p0002-syhr_a_p0002_af_split_beg,p0001-syhr_a_p0001_af_pl_ctry,p0105-syhr_a_p0105_af_cell,etc.... rejected)

Presently we are in IdM7.2 and SP8 and on SQL2008.

Kindly let me know if i am missing any configuration still from VDS side.

Hi,

The issue is resolved now. I had re-created VDS configuration and now i can see that everything is working.

Hi Dileep,

does the VDS point to the staging Id Store?

(just a hunch as if the HCM-field/attribute names and word "rejected" are mentioned in the error message and they don't exist in productive Id Store)

Yes, VDS is pointing to staging Identity store. PFA is the screenshot showing the same.
