My Leave Request Fiori App - Errors with the screen

Hi

I set up the My Leave Request App, found the following errors

1) absense types dropdown is empty

2) There is no FROM & TO date fields on the screen

3) Used & Available vacations do not get displayed

4) Calender - The calender only allow to select a single date? Why is not multi-select or Range..Is there a config where I can change the selection mode of the calender

Thanks. I had checked this note.

Well, I think I will update SP on the components itself. 

from UIX01HCM 100 Sp2 to SP03

and GBHCM002 600 SP10 to SP12.

I hope the SP fixes some of the issues with the UI. I will update the thread.

have a question here,how does the front-end and back-end component of the App depends on a Lower Backend release?

I checked the documentation, to me does not look like there is any difference unless I am missing something.

Ok, so we updated both the front end and the backend components but I still get the same UI errors

right now we are on

GBHCM002 600 SP12.

UIX01HCM 100 SP03

Hi Sandip,

Could you check the console in the chrome browser and see if there are errors.

Looks like your OData calls are failing. Could you check the Odata calls in the network in the chrome debugger and attach the screenshot.

The oData calls seem to be fine. There no error in console. Its just that oData calls for leaverequest returns empty and I see couple of missing fields on the UI (e.g. to & from date)  See the screenshot attached above on the UI fields missing.

The oData calls look fine to me - /sap/opu/odata/GBHCM/LEAVEREQUEST;v=2

Hi Sandip,

Can the user create a leave request in ERP backend with SAPGUI transaction?

I think some setting to the user is missing in ERP backend.

You are right, the backend config is missing. The user could not create leave request in the backend.

I am following up with the technical guys to create the required configurations.

ON a high level, do you know what are the basic config to be place like what are the info types should be maintained, what table to be maintained to read the Leave Types, List of Leaves etc from the Fiori App? In short what configuration does the Fiori App read from ECC?
