Changing EMAIL of Message Processor (Incident Management)

Dear Gurus,

How do i change the email of message processor ? I changed it in tcodes BP and SU01, but still mails are coming to OLD EMAIL ?

Hi Friend,

for sap note 954034 it says :

----------------------------------------

define the relevant standard address in the table DSWPGLOBALCUSTOM with the following values:

  • "Field": DSWP_NOTIF_DEFAULT_EMAIL
  • "Content": <required standard e-mail address>
  • -----------------------------------------------

In sm30 there is no table DSWPGLOBALCUSTOM like this

Did you check this table from se16 ?

I have seen this table in solman 7.1.

In se16 what should i do now ? i can not see DSWP_NOTIF_DEFAULT_EMAIL

What is the transaction type using for incident management?SMIN ?

if you are using SMIN_STD action profile , active the below action definition

SMIN_STD_MAIL_PROCESSOR  ( in standard it is inactive)

This is using the smart form : AI_CRM_IM_SHORT_TEXT_LINK_FORM.

which action definition using for message processor in your configuration?

Hi,

We are using solman_workcenter and incident management tab for incident management. Do i use it ?

By the way "message processor" taking emails already, he want to change email. aaa@aaa.com to bbb@bbb.com for example.

Hi ,

check the message processor action definition assigned to the partner determination for the action:  SLFN0004 ( Message processor)

may be issue with the business partner details update in the system ,

go to se38 -> AI_SDK_USER_BP_GEN

1. select via username

  enter read rfc , username

2. users row -> select user name

    update Business partner(BP)

    Update BP master data as well

3.program column ->uncheck the test mode

so it will update the BP with latest details and try again for mail trigger.

please select the below option


2. users row -> select user name ( you have selected email)


3.program column ->uncheck the test mode

Attach the log document.
