Thanks for your messages.

We are using solution manager for only maintenance optimizer and LMDB/SLD and CUA. I also want to some changes to my SLD too.

Hi ,

Better go for fresh installation for your scenario. because nothing needs to recover from old system.

If you are using Incident Management or Change Request Management - then you would probably need to perform an upgrade.

If you are only using Maintenance Optimizer and the LMDB/SLD - A fresh install is nice when you have a good SLD strategy and the LMDB can be populated correctly. Managed System Configuration can take some time as well.

If you have a full-fledged solman system running, them go for an update.

Otherwise, fresh is always the best option.
