Solution manager 7.1 installation in ECC 6.0 landscape

Dear All,

I am planning to install solman 7.1 SP04 in my landscape where the managed systems are running on ECC 6.0. SP 07(PRD, DEV,...).

Is it fine to start installation with current landscape or i need to upgrade the ECC version.

Any documents available regarding the technical system patch level requirements for Solution manager 7.1 installation.

Please suggest.

Thanks for your response,

Hope there will be no dependencies while configuring services like Service desk, Charm, Willy etc with Production systems patch level.

The only thing that you need to update is hostagent and diagnostic agents on managed system.

Hi Jithu,

Kepp your solution manager system to SP11 or Sp12.

Also, refer installation guide on SMP for solman.

Solman can be installed with any ECC version. There is no dependency of solman on any system in landscape.
