Dear Sales Gurus

Kindly let me know how can i modify the sales discount matrix  in Sales documents

Ex: Salesman has authority for 5% discount

Sales Manager has authority for 15% discount

What if i want to modify these percentages or add new new entry (say for Ex: Marketing Manager 20%)

Regards

Abdul

I'm also not sure what "discount matrix" means exactly in SAP terms, but there is an OSS note on the authorization check for the pricing conditions. Please use Search. It was discussed many times on SCN.

Hi

If this is for same condition type and for different users there is different percentage allowed then I guess this is some modification. There might be some Z table with usernames and percentages. You need to check with your ABAPER whether some userexit is activated for this. May be in MV45AFZZ program.

But can i assign discount ranges for Condition types ?

Hi Abdul

Yes you can. Just ask your ABAPER to add percentage field in that Z table and validate it in userexit where they have written the code.

Dear Lakshmipati

Currently different discount percentages are entered based in condition types.

Ex: Condition type Z001 condition type allows discount upto 5%  (for Salesman)

Condition type Z002 condition type allows discount upto 10% (for Sales manager)

In this manner in which screen i can see these discount ranges  or modify it?

Please can you tell

Regards

Abdul

Normally all condition records would be maintained via VK11 and if you want to check those data, you can check via VK12 or VK13.  To modify existing records, you should go via VK11 only.  Not sure, whether this is what you are looking for.  If you are not a SD guy, better ask your SD consultant to check if at all any issue is there on these condition types.
