Hello,

We had cold system reset after which sap won't start. In startdb.log or when I try to start db manually with dbmcli error message is:

Error! Connection failed to node mynode for database SID:

connection broken

How can debug what's wrong with the db, where to start?

Best Regards,

Sasha

Hello Sasha,

Check if the xserver is started and running on the Database server.

Hi Sasa,

Firstly check whether all the filesystems are available and mounted.

Refer SAP note 803452 - MaxDB directories in UNIX clusters for failover
