forecast modeling techniques

Hi Experts,

I got the following requirement:

1. Understanding of product data structures in a high tech environment including the use of KMAT material types and assembly order processing.

2. Understanding of various forecast modeling techniques

if you are looking for general info, you might also find some solution references that talk about models used by some customers in some customer success stories that appear on the SAP site under SCM.
