GPS Location

Hi,

       I have to access device current location in SAPWM and implemented a rule to get location for that but these rule not working on device. Actually these rule working on ATE when enabled GPS Simulation but not in Agentry Client. i used Latitude Decimal type and Longitude Decimal type and write a rule to get latitude value and longitude.

Manish,

Try changing the property types to String for your lat and long properties.  I believe Agentry is mistakenly returning strings for these values, even though they of course should be decimal.

      Actually i changed the property types for lat and long but agentry is not returning any values on my device. I trried string and decimal both and follow same step what you told.

Which gentry Clients are you using?

What version of Agentry are you using?

1) WPF clients will not support GPS until SMP 2.3 SP05

2) Android Clients, you need Google Play Store client installed.

i am using following..........

1.  Agentry client of version v6.1.3.10200.

2.  Agentry Sever v6.1.0.3

3.  Agentry Editior Plugins v6.1.0.3

Your Agentry Server and Editor are SMP 2.3 SP00 Release please upgrade to a newer release as your client is SMP 2.3 SP03.

Also, what client type are you using ie. Android, iOS, WPF, or Win32, WinCE
