EWA configuration: RFC destinations + ..

Hello,

Will you tell me when configuring EWA alert for satelite systems:

- is it nessecary to have 2 RFC destinations (SDCCN --> Goto --> Settings --> Task Specific , and RFC destination , Settings) if I use Solution Manager for EWA (and master box is checked) ?

- is it nessecary to have trusted connections for satelite systems in order to have EWA report in Solution Manager ? If not how to configure (you can't do it from SMSY .... Administration SDCCN ) ?

We use Solution Manager 4.0.

Hi,

1. You need to have two RFC connections one between your satellite system and SOLMAN, the other between SOLMAN and SAP Service Marketplace. Anyway you can check note 91488 for SDCCN.

2. Yes you need to have trusted connection.

but why do I need the one for SDCC_OSS (in mention note 91488 there is nothing about it). What actions are coresponding with this destination if EWA is configured for Solution Manager ?

Hi,

I already said, its connectin between your SOLMAN and SAP MarketPlace. I gave you that note mentioning anyway if you have not activated SDCCN. That's what I have mentioned in my post.
