Hi gurus,
Hi am configuring the email in SAP GRC and even though I have applied all the configuration, when I send an email to an external address I get the following message:
"Client was not authenticated".
The messages are sent ok to SAP Logon Names.
Could you please help me?
Thanks,
Kind regards,
Hi John

Hi John,
this is a Basis issue, please post in the suitable forum next time.
Basically, you mail server wnats SMTP authentication to be sure it can't be misused as a SPAM relay, but that's not supported in SCOT.
You will need to set up an interim relay that can talk authenticated SMTP to your outgoing mail server; that's available on any Unix platform.
