Hi, Getting error Login, Wrong Password [sign.c 4913] from system log due to some RFC connection trying to connect the system with wrong password. Anyone knows how to identify from which system it is connecting? Thanks
Contact the Solution Manager system and ask whether he tries to connect to the other systems in the environment and if yes then call the local police and hand him over for trespassing.
Good Luck

HI,
You could use this parameter to troubleshoot it is possible to set this dynamically via RZ11, so you can quickly enable/disable.
rfc/signon_error_log
Parameter description :
Value 0 = Inactive
1 = Short dump active
2 = Short dump activae and trace output in developer trace
files (dev_w*)
-1 = No short dump, but an ABAP message and trace output in
developer trace files (dev_w*)
If you set the value of the profile parameter to 0 (that is,
rfc/signon_error_log = 0), no ABAP short dump is written, but an entry
is created in the syslog.
If you set the value of the profile parameter to 1 (that is,rfc/signon_error_log = 1), the system outputs the short dump
"CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_REJECTED" every time a logon error occurs. You can analyze the content of the dump using the ABAP short dump analysis
transaction (Transaction ST22).
Kind Regards,
Johan

Hi Jeyakumar,
Please share more details like rfc name and error screen shot.
Also check the Logon Security tab of rfc to check if the user/pwd are maintained correctly.
May be the user password was recently changed and rfc might be having old password.
Also as Deepak suggested, please check more details in SM21, dev_rfc & dev_rd logs.
Regards,
Nikhil
