Hello SD Experts!
This question is related to the availability check at the Sales Order. Everything I've seen is suggesting that the availability check is done at the sales order and not the delivery. What is the impact if the check is done at the sales order and not the delivery?
Thank you
Rico
HI Rico,
if you choose availabillity check in deliveries all of your sales order line items will seem to be availlable.
why you need something like ths?

Dear ..Rico
generally system will control availability check in sales order level but if you want to control availability check in delivery it is possible ...
Impact of availability check in sales order system will not allow sales order if stock is not there
But if you maintain availability check in delivery level we can easily create sales order but while delivery creation system will restrict if stock is not available in the plant

Hello Rico,
But the problem with this approach would be that you will not be able to give a confirm delivery date to Customer at time of confirming the Sales Order.
It is only when you try to create Delivery the system will give message if the stock is not available.
What is the exact business need to not check the Availability at time of Sales Order?
Thanks,
