i have one doubt Regarding Returns STO process,
In STO returns why we need to Deactivate Availability check
I Have oss note but i dont have access
And OBCB Finance configuration is mandatory ?

Hi Venu,
It is not only STO Returns for which availability is switched off. Even for Normal returns from Customers also availability will not be carried
Since return delivery is not fulfilling the stock from plant, check availability is not logical,
And i assume, your doubt is in Delivery Item category whether field AVAILABILITY SWITCH OFF is marked for Return item category as X
this is because, normally when you do returns from customers, it will follow SD route and controlled through your Schedule line category and Requirement class. You can see D0 or DN
In case of STO, since it is not following SD route, availability is switched off at Delivery Item category
