Hello,

limit attachment size in old Incident Management workset works fine.

Is it possible to limit attachments in ITSM UI?

I use the Solman 7.1 SP11.

Hi Yessen,

Try to fix this via Content Server parameters, give this link to your basis team

Hi Daniyar,

thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately we don't plan to use Content Server in our landscape but it's a good idea.

We will try to solve our problem via ABAP coding (may be through BADI CRM_DOC_AUTHORITY).

And to work with SAP AG via early created ticket.

Yessen,

Solution Manager have own Content Server to work with files...

its not about changing Content Server to new, but to change settings on content server level.

Try to speak with basis team about this.

Hello Yessen,

There is a default limit to the attachment, however, you may set your own through table AGS_WORK_CUSTOM

Just add the following entry:

NAME = IM_INCI_FILE_UP_MAX_SIZE and VALUE = <Attachment restriction size in Kilobytes>

Please refer to Note1366526 for details.

Hi Grace.

Thank you for your reply.

But Note 1366526 works only for old Incident Management workset not for Web UI in Solman 7.1.

Hi Swami,

Thanks for useful Note.

But sorry I couldn't find required parameter for limit attachment for Web UI Client.

There are only 2 parameters in Note:

  • IM_INCI_FILE_UP_MAX_SIZE for old Incident Management workcenter (table AGS_WORK_CUSTOM), it's mentioned before.
  • and UPLOAD_FILE_SIZE_LIMIT (table DNOC_USERCFG) only for QGM functionality,

and they are don't solve my problem.
