SAP PO 7.4 - original message format in Message Monitoring

I want to have the original message format available within the Message Monitoring tools, besides the XML version.

Something like this, but for non-B2B messages.

Is that possible?

Hi Dimitri,

Are you talking about the file adapter for instance?  If so, then I think you would need a custom adapter module or you could do it with a java mapping also.

I'm talking in general, but you can take a file adapter as an example.

Is there no standard way to provide this? I'm a bit surprised.

Hi Dmitri,

I think that addition of the attachment for the original payload comes from the edi.copy parameter that  they have made available in all the converter modules.  So you would have to do the same thing to create a custom adapter module to intercept the payload and achieve the same thing.  However for messages without any conversion you could write a generic module that could be used in any scenarios you like easily enough.
