Secondary Index Missing in DB02 Alerts.

Dear all,

While monitoring the Alerts in DB02, Alert Monitor --> Under the alert tree nodes, SAP consistency --> Objects missing in database --> Secondary Indexes missing  prompts in red from a very long period.

When trying to check that node in detail, I`m getting a message like "Detailed view not available".

Could some one please tell me why this error was occurring and how to resolve that Node.

I`m attaching a screen shot for your reference.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Vamc.

Hi Vamsi,

The secondary indexes will be dropped in BI systems usually, you can also rebuild them in DB02.

If it did not work try to build it from DB20 or using brtools.

If it is a Z index you can build them using SE14.

Thanks,

Hi Vamsi,

I guess its a BW system, go to the tcode DB02OLD there you can find a button missing indexes click it.

By clicking on the secondary indexes press Ctrl+F2 the index will be rebuilt.

Thanks,

Could you please suggest any other solution.

Hi Vamsi

1. If possible find the table information and them check with BI function consolutentant.

2. Just check this SAP Note - 1751219 - DB02: Missing secondary indexes
