SAP ERP BP and Customer Replication via CVI

Hello Experts,

We are creating customers as Business Partners via a BAPI. The BPs are created fine and almost immediately so are the Customers. But the first name and last name of the BP are being concatenated and stored as NAME1 in KNA1. The requirement is to store First name as NAME1 and Last Name as NAME2 in KNA1.

My question is - where can I find the setting that stores First and Last name as NAME1 in KNA1?

Transaction SPRO --> SAP Ref IMG --> Cross-Application Components --> Master Data Synchronization --> Customer/Vendor Integration

--> Business Partner Settings -->  Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) --> Execute BADI : Data Assignment BP <-> Cust/Vend/CP

In the list of BADIs that pops up : open the BADI CVI_MAP_CUSTOMER_VENDOR_BP.

Look for the method IF_EX_CVI_CUSTOM_MAPPER~MAP_BP_TO_CUSTOMER in this BADI, this takes care of BP attributes to Customer and Vendor.
