Hello Christian,
What needs to be checked when Handling Unit passes through a CP?
In routing Log Dst EWM, Log Dst PLC, Dst PLC and DST CP?
how do ewm stores the destination bin for the HU from telegram?
How conveyor can get the confirmation message back? Is it through same telegram?
Kind regards,
Priya
Hello Priya,
the messages are exchanged via TCP/IP. There are incoming and outgoing telegrams.
Depending to the scenario you set up the MFS the logic for the movement control can be maintained in EWM (based on the settings you'd also use for normal warehouse moves) or, if the MFS is setup as blackbox, the logic is unknown to EWM and handled via PLC directly.
So the answer is...depends on your scenario. Please see the picture about existing telegrams.
Regards,
Christian
