POS article master outbound - without retail price

Hi experts,

There is requirement for certain article types maintained in SAP retail, listed but without the retail price (VKP0) maintained, to be able to download to POS system.

We are choosing between the message type WP_PLU (article master interface) and WBBDLD (assortment interface).

Could you kindly advise for each of the message type whether it is SAP standard function to allow the article without retail price maintained to be sent to POS?

Hi Dom,

it's been a while since I customized these topics, but if I remember correctly, SAP Standard should behave the following:

- WPMA (POS-Download): article requires a sales price (VKP0 or VKA0) to be sent out

- Assortment List: article without sales price can be sent out

[I even know some customers which implemted checks in Assortment List, so that articles without sales prices are not sent to POS]

I think, you could test that quite easily.
