Changing from Vendor UI to Supplier UI

We want to change from Vendor UI to Supplier UI.  The following changes were done :

a) T-code : LPD_CUST

  Changed Configuration to BS_OVP_SP for 'Search Supplier'

b) T-code PFCG

    Changed Application config to BS_OVP_SP for 'Seach Supplier'  under  Menu role  (Role Menu>Supplier Governance>Change Requests>Search Supplier)

c) T-code MDGIMG

Changed Target UI Configuration to "BS_OVP_SP'  for BO Type 266 (Path:  General Settings>Process Modeling>Business Activities>Link Log. Actions with UI application and Bus. Act.: Stadard Definition)

But we we are still seeing the earlier vendor UI !!.  Is there any other config that needs to be changed ?

Hi Vinay,

You can use either Vendor Like UI or MDG Supplier UI, not both. Depending on which UI you want to use you need to perform the configuration(Change Request types and related settings and UI settings) related to that UI.. Check the Configuration guide for details.

As you need Supplier UI, you can use the standard MDG PFCG roles-SAP_MDGS_MENU_04(MDG 7.0).

Thanks Ibrahim,

We are on MDG 6.1.

We had activated the BC sets for Vendor UI initially but now because of this change we activated the BC sets for Supplier UI . So we now have  the CR types for both supplier and vendor UI.

From a role perspective : we have created a copy of the standard SAP_MDGS_MENU_03 role.

We also  are aware that "You can use either Vendor Like UI or MDG Supplier UI," - but what we understand by that is : you can have both BC sets activated in the system but you should have the configuration related to only one UI and mix the config of both UI's - for example - we should not use CR type VENDR01 and Supplier UI.  So with that thinking we have followed the guide word by word - but still seeing the Vendor UI.

Are you saying we must delete the CR types of the UI that we are NOT using ?

Yes, please delete the CR types of the Vendor Like UI.
