Dear all,
We have installed the PPM Fiori apps on our system; we have managed to get these four apps on the launchpad. However when we click one of the tiles the error "Failure - unable tot start app" occurs. If we do the same but now right click and open in New Tab or New Window the app is started without any problems.
Has anyone experienced the same behaviour?
Regards,
John.

Hi John,
Could you upload screenshot of the tile setting? Is it SAP delivered tile or your custom tile?
Is there any group?

Hi John,
Th URL string is correct.
Please confirm you can run the app with that URL but you have an issue for launching the app from launchpad.
I think the root cause is your UI_Add-on is SP07 without mandatory notes.
You can save troubleshooting time if you apply SP09.

Hi John
Yes, sometime it is frustrating as well when issue goes from bad to worse situation.
Check this note, 2029333 - Fiori Launchpad displays no tiles: reset CHIP cache
Check the symptom section before you apply this correction (says UI SP10).

Hello Swami,
All "delete cache programs" have ran, unfortunately without any result. With the Chrome developer tools I can see the following errors:
I have checked service INTEROP in SICF, but the service has been activated.

Hi John,
Have you activated the OData services for launchpad? It is part of launchpad configuration.

Hi John
Looks like some more notes are required to be applied as a post patching of SP09.
Some of these notes are for INTEROP services related as well.

Hi Masa,
It took a while for a reply because I raised an OSS incident for the "unable to load groups" error, which has been solved today.
So now I'm back to the original problem: when I click on a tile nothing happens, but when I right click on a tile and select open in new window it runs perfectly.
Do you have a suggestion?
Kind regards,
John.
Hi John,
Please check the OData call. What is the response for ResolveLink service when you selected the tile?
