What does this mean to a non SRM user in plain language, does it mean that it is in the SOCO awaiting processing??

Hi,

Yes, it means that, the SC item is in the purchaser's work list.

Oh, sorry, i meant, if you see the status as "In Purchasers Worklist", it means that, it is in SOCO.

You can see this in T Code BBP_PD  field SOURCE_REL_IND. It should be 'X' for the items to be in SOCO.

Hello,

"In Purchaser's Worklist" is only a "displayed" status (you will not find it on table level - the last status of the SC is approved ) , which means that the affected SC item has open quantity in Sourcing Cockpit. This helps the work of purchaser users.

As mentioned in the last comments, the Sourcing Cockpit availability depends on the SOURCE_REL_IND field (item level).
