No PCOA6L statement account type is defined for chart of accounts

HI,

I was trying to create for GL master records using t code: FS00 as im getting error is "No PCOA6L statment account type is defined for chart of accounts.

My chart of accounts is COA6.

Pls suggest what do for the following error resolution.

Hi

you have created the chart of account if created, check the account group OBD4.

check open and closing  posting period (OB52) whether COA6 varient is assigned are not.

and also check fiscal year variant
