Hi All,
do you know any ways to refresh an existing configuration of a material variant configuration data (on basic data 2 and MRP3) after some characteristic values has been changed in the variant table where the values are coming from?
Best regards
Tamas
HI Tamas,
There is a standard report "CUUPDMV" that can be used for update data you mentioned.

Hi All,
I know all of these solutions but somehow none of them works in our system.

Hi Tamas,
we had the same need in the past, and we developed a little custom program (based on a recorded BDC) that calls transaction MM02 and finally saves the materials with the updated configuration.
If you need further info about it, just let me know.
Thank you and bye,
Flavio

Have you checked with MM02 transaction , I believe in change mode when you will open material variant and try to check values assigned , it will trigger dependencies as well as variant function to pick values changed in variant tables.
I also created a document on same, check it out , it may help.
Rate it if you find it useful.
Thanks
Ritesh
