Hi experts,

I read that there is a possibility to include the webdispatcher into the SAP Management Console.

But how?

What is the instance number?

Thank you

Hi Christian,

You need to firstly install SAP web dispatacher with specific SID and instance number,

Post installation , same will get added into the SAP MMC.

Refer SAP installation guides on SAP service Marketplace for Web dispatcher.

Some useful links for your guidance.

Hope this helps.

Hi Deppak,

but I have already an installed web dispatcher.

And there I find the systemname <sid> and also a kind of sapsystem number.

I found this in <sid>_config.txt file, or isn't this the sid an sidno?

Kind regards

Hi,

In MMC, right click on "SAP-System" - Properties and add hostname and instance number.

Now on how to get this info, check your DEFAULT profile.

Also check SAP note for getting to different places.

Hi Christian,

You may login with sidadm

Execute sapstartsrv on command prompt

Enter the required information in the pop-up window and click execute/save.

Post this entry should get registered SAP MMC.

Also you need to check whether SAP Webdispatcher service exists under Windows services( Services.msc)
