Hi all,
I am a newcomer in SAP field. I have a task which my boss asked me to find a way to copy and paste fields in Excel 2010 into SAP. The point is, I am zero-knowing in SAP and I have try to search the relevant info but still cannot get the clear image of what is SAP actually.
I am hoping someone will guide me to understand better SAP and find a way to solve the problem my boss has given to me.
Thank you.
Hi Zabidi,
SAP is an ERP Software which simplifies work and improves efficiency of the organization. We can store huge amount of data in SAP. We can transfer data from one SAP system another SAP sysem, and from one SAP system to non-SAP system and vice vera. So, you can transfer the data from Excel to SAP. You need to either use LSMW (T-Code in SAP and Tool) or BDC (Batch Data Communication). But, since you do not have knowledge about SAP, you'd find it very difficult to transfer the data from Excel to SAP. I advise you to seek assistance from a BASIS Consultant.
Hope this answers your question.
Regards,
Mohammed Anwar
