SNP PDS created in APO eventhough there is no PV or PDT

Hi Experts,

I am using SCM 7 and is finding a behavior which I am not able to understand.

I am CIFing SNP PDS, for inhouse produced materials, a SNP PDS is getting created even though there is no PV maintained in R3.

This PDS only has planned delivery time in it.

What is strange is, PDS is getting created even though the PDT is maintained as zero in R3. Is this standard behavior?

And if so, any explanations on why it is like that?

Hi Sreeram,

We can create PDS into APO without production version also. In t-code CFM1 we have option 'BOM" by using this option we can generate PDS into APO.

Kindly check into your system whether this option is used or not to create the PDS.

Hi Sreeram,

I never tried this myself but I think PDS can be created in ECC using transaction PDS_MAINT (in ECC9) where you can select data restriction "BOM Maintenance" and with this option BOM based PDS can be created an transferred to APO.
