SMP to ECC connection

Hi Experts,

We are goin to setup Installation of temporary 3-Tier SMP2.3, WM6.0 and IM3.2 system landscape.

Setting  up of DEV, QAS and PRD environment  (for SMP2.3, WM6.0 and IM3.2)   for users (augmenting from 10 to approx 100 end users in Q2 2015)

As a basis point of view(basis consultant),can y0u provide me with some guide/steps for below queries.- (also,suggest what more roles needs to be performed as a basis consultant-New to this scenerio)

Install R/3 plug-in on PPC ECC system (D, Q, P)

Details-SAP backend system-ECC-6 EHP5

SAP front end system-Sapnetweaver 7.3 EHP1

Establish connections between SMP and ECC

Details-Any possible guide/suggestion

Mobile Application -SAP Work Manager 6.0 and IM3.2

  Please refer installation and configuration guide of  SAP Work Manager 6.1 and  SAP Inventory Manager 4.0  for detailed  step  by step  instructions related to installtation , authorization object and post-installation steps.

What about connection between ECC and SMP.?

The Connection between between the IM Server and SAP server is doing by a Jco connection and uses the default Jco ports.

Please refer Installtion and configuration guide under Inventory Manager 4.0 product in service market place, it has all  details your basis people should know  or refer  Add-on installation note.

Installation is done in various steps:-

1) Installing SAP Add-on for IM  in SAP backend  and peform all post installation activitives as specfied in IM configuration guide.

2) Installing SMP server and deploying IM 4.0 application ;-  During step 2) you will specific SAP back conection details for IM 4.0 application to pull and post data.

3) Install client Agentry client  and connect to  SMP server installed in step 2)
