Dear All Gurus,

I have created an oData Model to get PO details in ERP system. Program is error free(No Syntax Error) and I am able to query "$metadat" operations.

but when tryiing to test for PO details through GW Client I am getting below error and unable to find exact cause...

RFC call ended with "Communication Failure" exception (Function
call failed; could not find the function BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL1).

Is the RFC connection and System alias configured properly?

This issue can be fixed configuring them properly in SPRO.

Hi Tharu,

You need to check the LOCAL APP flag for the system alias to backend via Manage System Alias in the SPRO link indicated in the snap shot:

Is it an embedded deployment scenario?

If not, as Virinchy suggested it has to be problem with the system alias.
