SAPInst GUI closed Unexpectedly

Hi,

we are planned to Install EHP7, while installing unexpectedly I closed the SAPinstGui screen.

But i came to know that in background installation is running.

Can anyone suggest me , how to open sapinstgui screen again without interrupting installation

Rajasekhar,

If you meant that the GUI process running on your workstation, or in a browser, etc, closed, but the server process is still running, then you can simply restart the GUI in the the browser, usually by opening your browser and pointing it to http://<hostname>:4239.  If the server process is indeed still running, you'll get a login screen, and after inputting the administrator password you set up at the beginning of it all you will then see the current running step.

There should be no need to kill the sapinst process.

Hi,

At which step it is running currently?

You can wait till it reaches less critical step, kill SAPinst process manually and open the SAPinst GUI once again to resume from error.
