Client Copy Export Import - Space Requirement

Dear all,

I am going to perform client copy via export/import method with SAP_ALL profile (i.e all data). Our ERP production database size is 240GB and CRM production size is 540GB.

I have a couple of query.

1) What would be the size of cofile/datafile considering the production database sizes of 240GB (ERP Database) and 540GB(CRM Database)

2) What would be the database size requirement of new client in both ERP QA and CRM QA considering production database sizes of 240GB (ERP Database) and 540GB(CRM Database) respectively.

Hi Mehul,

You should 1st check the size of the client which will give you an overview of how much space is required.

use report - RSSPACECHECK and RSTABLESIZE.

Hi Divyanshu,

I have gone through this note and report RSSSPACECHECK which talks about Memory Requirement in Database Areas not the size of client. Moreover, when I run RSTABLESIZE, no output is generated.
