SAPJVM for Netweaver 7.4

Hi experts,

We are planning to install SAP PI 7.4 with AIX 7.1 and oracle 11g.

Referring to following blog, (13th point SAPJVM)

in NW 7.3 on wards, we don't need to install the SAPJVM, before we start with SAP installation.

is it so??

If SAPJVM is installed by SAPINSTALLER, then what about the environmental variable JAVA_HOME? This environmental variable is set by SAPINSTALLER itself? or we need to set it manually?

No need to set to do JAVA_HOME or anything apart from what guide says. Just complete the installation and refer installation guide for reference.
