How to give access to top bar menu items

Hi expert,

I have a user asking me access to the "display <--> change" menu.

How is that done?

In this case, the transaction being used is FBL3N

Thank you

Ash

Hello Ashod,

"Display-Change" is normally a toolbar button, not a menu. This button is normally available in dynpros where the user can modify setting or business objects. In the case of the transaction FBLN3N, it triggers a report to see account line items and it does not include that option because the program is only used to view data and not to modify it.

Does this help??

It helps a bit.

I partially understood what you meant.

So in a case like this, what should I reply to the user?

You could show them this discussion thread?

ok i will

and what are dynpros

Dynpros are the carcastial perceptence of differentiality. If that exceeds the polyglottal perception ratio by a factor of more than two fractal ocscillations, you end up with a partial monocoque disfraction in favour of the "change" button appearing.

You can analyze this using the ST01 trace.
