SAP Netweaver 7.0 compatibility

Hi All,

We're upgrading server with windows 2012 R2. The old server has windows 2003 and runs appl SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 or higher relation with TREX 7.0 or 7.10

. My question as I'm not able to see on the site is if version SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 or higher relation with TREX 7.10 is compatible with windows 2012 R2??

Only information I could find is Windows Server 2012 R2 is released for SAP products based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 or 7.1 and higher.  You can find all Windows Server 2012 R2 release information in the Product Availability Matrix at http://service.sap.com/pam. but i don't have login.

Is your question is whether TREX 7.10 is compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2 ?

According to PAM I can only see Windows Server 2012.

correct..does not mentione R2..but I got answer now:

Datacenter edition is not supported for SAP NW systems.

You need to have R2 only.

and where does it say that SAP does NOT support Datacenter editions ?

I can see SAP confirms that they support DC editions.

Hi Pedro,

As per PAM NW 7.0 product is supported on Windows 2012 . Below is screenshot with MSSQL database.

Hi..thanks..I have this list but does not clear mention if windows 2012 R2 or datacenter whihc has some diferences. So far I knew that is compatible with 2012 but I'm trying to find if R2 or only datacenter version:)
