Hi all,

In the PO output, we have an option to put 'Storage mode" as "Print and Archive". My client requirement is to print the PO and put the document in the attachment list of the PO using this storage mode. Can any one please provide the documentation indicating the configuration steps to achieve this requirement.

Thanks all for your support till now.

regards

Chaitanya

Hi chaitanya ,

For using the print and archive ,first you need to create document type and content repository through oad5 and oac0 transactions .after that if you use this option a link entry is created in the table toa01 or toa02 or toa03 (based on the selection in the oad5) .

so,if you populate the link tables with the business obj and key with the doc id .automatically in the attachment list ,the document appears .

Krishna .

Hi chaitanya,

please ,take help of u r basis to setup the content repository.and Document type creation using oad5 is  a gui process ...provide the required fields in it  .

After storing the doc ,search the link table with object type DRAW .you will find some entries.pick correct entry and modify or insert with po business object  type and object key ..in the same table (link table) .

but,the entries saved through the print and archive will be stored in ALF format .which will be not readable even if we display it in po .Beside ,you can convince your client to attach it manually for po and for remaining steps like migo, miro etc .,we can automatically bring the po to attachment list.

Krishna .

Don't you think it would be better to work through the official documentation and not just ask before?

Maybe you find some time and work through this blog here

Hi Chaitanya,

Honestly, i haven't worked on this setting. Below link may be useful for you,

After going through the documentation, i think, you need help from ABAP and BASIS consultant.
