Hi,

I followed sap note 1822831 - Web Service Soap Errors in solman_setup.

But it is not useful for me.

i am able follow that sap note SM_INTERN_WS user is not loging to java system.

"Trying to logon manually with SM_INTERN_WS onto the Solution Manager java stack (eg System Info page) may also help to reproduce the issue, which may in some cases, be due to a misconfiguration of the Java UME."

The user is not loging to the system.

Please suggest me some solution for this...

Is it mandatory client copy from 001??

Hi,

Kindly follow SCN link

and try to perform recommendations from the SAP Note 1822831

http 401 (Unauthorized) :

- Go to step 'Create Users' in solman_setup System Preparation scenario and make sure the user SM_INTERN_WS has a green status. Use the 'Test Login' button to make sure the user is not locked and has correct credentials maintained in solman_setup

- Immediately after checking the user status, navigate to Configure Connectivity->Enable Web Services and execute again the 'Create Logical Ports' automatic activity, in order to propagate the correct credentials to the Logical Port definitions.

- If the above operation is not successful, repeat the two steps above, providing a different user Id in 'Create Users' step, eg SM_INTERN_W1. This will prevent situations where the user gets locked by Logical Ports using an obsolete password.

- For troubleshooting (see troubleshooting section below), the security settings of the failing logical port can be checked in SOAMANAGER. They must be set to Basic Authentication mode (user/password) and set to use the SM_INTERN_WS credentials defined in solman_setup. Trying to logon manually with SM_INTERN_WS onto the Solution Manager java stack (eg System Info page) may also help to reproduce the issue, which may in some cases, be due to a misconfiguration of the Java UME.

Gaurav

Import users from 001 to your client using SAP_USER.

or

follow this for a new client

Hi Chandra,

Did you find the solution already? Do you mind to share with me?

I noticed many people are affected by this issue as well.

I already upgraded my solman to SP12 last week but the problem still persists and the problem only happens to my work client which is client 001. However client 000 has no problem.

Is it a mistake if I accidentally run Solman_setup -> System preparation in client 000 as well?

Thanks.

Hi All,

Just for reference.

SAP delivery client 001 as productive client for SAP Solution Manager. so don't use client 000 for client copy .

Please check the below screen shot for prerequisites - client copy for SAP Solution Manager.

Hi,

Sorry i skipped

I have created new client and client copy done by from 000 client.

You need to perform client copy from 001 instead from 000 as @Divyanshu srivastva already suggested to you.

Gaurav
