Stack definition contains no applicable stacks for NW 7.31

Hi,

I am trying to do SP upgrade from 7 to 9 on the IDM 7.2 system. However I get an error saying stack definition contains no applicable stacks.

The stack.xml was generated by the maintenance optimizer in solution manager and my system too is added to the solution manager system.

Please do let me should if I am missing any thing.

Thank you,

Regards,

Praman

Praman,

You can just download SP9 and install the update.

When you ran mopz did you get to the part where it generated the stack file?

Are you using the xml stack file (as mopz creates a txt file to tell you what SPs were going to be applied)?

Are the files in your download basket on the market and did you download all the files?

Hi Billy,

I got the part where the stack file was generated and I am using the same xml stack file.

The files were in the download basket and I could download all of them.

Can you verify in SolMan what it thinks you have installed on the system you are trying to upgrade?  Also keep in mind that if your landscape data is correct and reflects your 7.31 system, you still need to have some things checked under the software section; typically running a verification check will help in guiding you ensure the correct items are marked.

What SolMan version and stack level are you currently running?
