can we use Basic contract as a source of supply in SRM Shopping cart ??

Hi All,

We are using basic contracts in SRM7 which have only the value at header level and no items.

Does SRM allow to use these contracts as a source of supply in shopping carts so that automatically purchase order will be created after the approval ? is there any configuration that needs to be maintained for this ?

Hello,

Note 1086178 removes basic contracts during source of supply determination in the shopping cart. The reason being that the basic contracts do not have a price, and therefore should be only added in sourcing cockpit, where a vendor is also assigned.
