How to create Sales Order from data extracted from Oracle Database of 3rd party application

Hi Gurus,

I have a business requirement in which i Need to extract data from an oracle database of Non SAP application, filter the data and to create a Sales Order from that data in SAP.

I have following queries.

1. I am planning to use JDBC adapter for extracting data from oracle. Is it Ok

2. I am planning to store the extracted data in SAP PI and then according to the need filter the fields and create the sales order.

3. Is there any other way by which i can create sales order in SAP by picking data from database.

Hi,

You can use BAPI or iDoc to create SO in SAP. Rest of the process are fine.
