Oracle upgrade-RUNINSTALLER issue

Dear Experts,

We are in the process of Oracle Upgrade from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.2 under.

We are getting the below error while executing RUNINSTALLER_CHECK script under(/oracle/stage/11202/database/SAP).Xclock is working fine with ora<SID> user.

Hi Maruthi,

Have you followed SAP Note,command mentioned and the link which i posted earlier.Also from logs under  Environment settings display variable still showing localhost:10.0 .

Are you able to resolve hostname via IP or vice-versa on the system.Kindly confirm.

Try to execute command

projmod -sK “process.max-file-descriptor=(priv,65536,deny)” group.dba

After that try to execute ./RUNINSTALLER_CHECK

DISPLAY

= localhost:13.0

You need to check for host file of the system,entries should be like as below:

127.0.0.1  localhost.localdomain  localhost

<server IP>  <server hostname>

So that env variable value of DISPLAY would point as

DISPLAY = <Server IP>:0.0

Initially the host file entries are as follows.

As per your concern i changed as below.Still facing the same issue.

127.0.0.1  localhost.localdomain  localhost

Without JAVA_HOME also, getting the issue.There is no permenant JAVA_HOME for orasid user.

Temporarly i set the JAVA_HOME for orasid user and run the script,Still getting the same issue.

which java

/usr/bin/java

env:JAVA_HOME=/usr/bin/java
