Failed Messages In Adapter Engine in Pi 7.1 EHP1

Hi All ,

We have observed that Java stack AE  shows some error messages, but when we tried to open those failed messages, shows they were already processed successfully. And observed that this case is only happens in java stack only, we couldn't find any error messages in ABAP Stack moni. We thought this might be java stack issue.

Addning more info : Only one particular interface causing this issue

Actually issue happened at that moment. But we were resend all the failed messages and they were processed successfully. We have observed no error messages found in ABAP stack MONI. In Java Stack adapter engine still observe the same error messages showing.

I believe steps mentioned in the below OSS note should resolve the issue.

Give a try and share the results.

Hi,

Adding to above comment try to find out the target system' status during that time. if the target goes down and comes up we can restart the message and it will be delivered to target system.

Thanks ,That time target system Available and we re-prcoessed messages successfully  and its processed . but still it is showing error count .

We have encountered same issue a week ago.

But that time, the system load was high and messages are failed. when we resend, they got processed successfully but the status still shows "system error". For some messages even audit log didnt get updated properly. we are currently analysing the root cause. Will keep this thread updated if we find anything. You also please do the same. It will be helpful.

As far as we know, the issue is because of system overload.
