How to read / scan 2D Barcode with its mobile

Thank for the reply and the link.

I'm currently looking in to the 2D scanning issue with an external consultant.

We've build a custom transaction, just to test the reading/scanning of the 2D barcode.

This will evolve into a custom application and hopefully to a new way of approaching of all the LM00 functionality (including custom applications).

We used ITSMOBILE4 templates to generate the screen(s).

We are running SAP ECC 6.0 Basis 7.00 patch 17.

ITSMOBILE4 was not in our system, I've implemented all (I hope) SAP notes to get the template into the system.

The only thing missing is the CustomProperty option in the dynpro.

But we've managed to create a textbox in SAP using a single input field and changing the HTML template to make it believe it is multiple line, instead of putting this into the CustomProperties.

It scans the 2D barcode fine.

The struggle is now getting the data back to SAP.

The HTML does not pass any okcode except for ENTER (when pressing Send).

And I don't know how to read the multiple lines from this textfield.

If anyone could be of any help... I would be very grateful!

Hello Monique,

What browser and device are you using?

You are using an old ECC 6.0 i.e Basis 7.00 patch 17. What Kernel version patch are you using?

Can you post the relevant section of the HTML template code (multiline text field) that is used to take this barcode data?

Hello Monique,

Can you update the thread with your system details and information regarding your ITSMobile service. How were the templates generated, what transaction you are calling etc?
