Dear Experts,
We are planning to install the SRM server in our organization.
Landscape as follows...
EHP3 SRM 7.0 Based on Netweaver 7.4
ORACLE 11.2.0.3
AIX 7.1
Process Integration 7.4
ORACLE 11.2.0.3
AIX 7.1
Our backend system details as follows..
EHP5 FOR SAP ERP 6.0
ORACLE 11.2.0.2
I would like to know that, does above SRM, PI and ERP version compatible with each other?
I have checked PAM but I didn't found compatibility matrix between SRM and ERP.
Also I have refer the note 1070623 - SRM and ERP Compatibility matrix , but this note gives compatibility for SRM 7.0 release not for EHP releases of SRM 7.0.
Please help us throw a light with your valuable suggestions on my query.
Regards,
Swapnil..
Hello Swapnil,
Its good to know that you are installing SAP SRM in your organization. As you mentioned you are using PI, so would like to know which Technical/Business Scenario are you planning to go with. Is your backend system ECC already in working state ( go with ECS) or your backend system ECC is a fresh system(go with Classic Scenario) . Now taking business into consideration are you planning to go with SUS or ROS or both. PI system helps in the integration process. Converting XML languages in simple words. Now going in depth are you planning to go with bidding engine (Rfx, Rfx response ..etc) , also planning to go with direct material or indirect material.
More details:
Note : 700350 (Correction in note: Service procurement is supported from SRM70 onwards)

Dear Gaurav Gautam,
Thanks for your response.
Backend System i.e. ECC is already in Working state.
We are planning to go with only SUS.
We are using both bidding engine and direct material or indirect material.
My concern is that, above landscape versions are compatible with each other? i.e. Existing Backend system version(EHP5 FOR SAP ERP 6.0) is compatible with EHP3 SRM 7.0 Based on Netweaver 7.4 and Process Integration 7.4 version?
Regards,
Swapnil.
