A2A and B2B scenarios:

From the point of view of PI and talking generally, B2B implies different companies share the same business process, this can be seen inside the PI with the Party option in the configuration when you specify each company inside the party each business system or communication component, and A2A is only for applications, not Party needed only business system or communication component when you specify the system characteristics.
